North Carolina State University, through the Children, Youth, & Families at Risk (CYFAR) Professional Development Technical Assistance (PDTA) grant, is excited to host Experiential Facilitation 101 Training for Extension staff working with military-connected youth. The course teaches the foundational skills necessary for facilitators and is led through experiential activity. You not only learn new skills but also new activities for your participants. In registering for the meeting, you are committing to participating fully in the event which includes three full days of training beginning at 8:00 (Wednesday & Thursday) and ending at 5:00 p.m all three days. To facilitate local travel, we will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

 The CYFAR PDTA grant will provide training registration (including breakfast and lunch on training days) and direct bill hotel expenses including parking at the conference hotel for the selected participants.

Participants are responsible for transportation to the event (Atlanta, Ga) as well as additional meals and expenses. Completing registration is an intent to participate. Participants will be notified no later than February 15th of acceptance. If space remains, additional participants may be added at the discretion of the facilitators.
